Qui a seguire, il testo in italiano dell’appello internazionale del HDP con cui sollecitare azioni di solidarietà in tutti i Paesi in accompagnamento e a supporto dei deputati, dei sindaci e degli attivisti sotto processo ad Ankara il prossimo 26 Aprile.

Quale prosecuzione della repressione sistematica contro il Partito Democratico dei Popoli, HDP (arresti, revoca dell’immunità parlamentare dei deputati, chiusura delle amministrazioni dei comuni), il 26 aprile inizierà il principale processo Kobani.
Il processo Kobani, che riguarda 108 persone, compresi i nostri arrestati ex co-presidenti Figen Yüksekdag e Selahattin Demirtas, si terrà il 26 aprile ad Ankara. Abbiamo già inviato un “Invito a monitorare il caso Kobani” scritto dai nostri co-presidenti a tutti i parlamentari e i partiti politici.
A causa delle misure legate al Covid-19 e di altre circostanze, ci sono molti amici e deputati che non potranno partecipare al processo. Molti dei nostri amici ci hanno chiesto “cosa si potrebbe fare in alternativa ?”.
A seguito di questo confronto, è emersa l’idea di organizzare azioni di solidarietà con l’HDP e la resistenza di Kobani da portare avanti il giorno del processo (26 aprile).In questo contesto, l’Ufficio del Gruppo di Amicizia con il Kurdistan (KFG) al Parlamento Europeo: François Alfonsi (Verdi/ALE), Andreas Schieder (S&D), Nikolaj Villumsen (GUE/NGL) e i leader dei partiti politici europei: Heinz Bierbaum (Presidente del Partito della Sinistra Europea), Evelyne Huytebroeck e Thomas Waitz (Co-presidenti del Partito dei Verdi europei), Lorena Lopez de Lacalle (Presidente dell’ALE) e Sergei Stanishev (leader del PES Partito dei Socialisti Europei) hanno preparato una dichiarazione (allegato, in inglese).
Ci uniamo a questo prezioso appello del KFG e dei leader dei partiti politici europei e saremmo molto lieti se tutti i partiti politici, i membri del parlamento e le organizzazioni della società civile che non possono partecipare al processo Kobani ad Ankara organizzassero un’azione, capace di mobilitare quante più persone possibile, in solidarietà con l’HDP dalle ore 11.00 (CET) del 26 aprile.

Ove mai vi fossero altri tipi di azione o di iniziativa in grado di risultare efficaci, non esitate a metterle in pratica. Questi sono alcuni tipi di azioni emerse a seguito del confronto su “cosa si potrebbe fare in alternativa?”:
• Svezia: i deputati svedesi protesteranno davanti all’ambasciata turca
• Parlamento europeo: una azione fotografica all’interno e all’esterno del Parlamento Europeo (alle 15:00 CET)
• Regno Unito: video-messaggio con le foto nel Parlamento britannico
• Germania: azione fotografica nel parlamento federale e nei parlamenti dei Lander.

We hope this email finds you well.
As a continuation of the systematic repression against the Peoples’ Democratic Party (arrests, lifting the immunity of deputies, seizure of municipalities and the closure case), the main Kobani trial will begin on April 26.
The Kobani Trial of 108 people, including our arrested former Co-Chairs Figen Yüksekdag and Selahattin Demirtas, will be held on April 26 in Ankara. We have already sent the ‘Invitation to Observe the Kobani Case‘ written by our Co-chairs to all MEPs, MPs and political parties.
Due to Covid-19 measures and other circumstances, there are many friends and deputies who will not be able to attend the trial. We have been asked by many of our friends ‘what might be done alternatively?’. Following these discussions, the idea of organizing actions in solidarity with the HDP and Kobani resistance to be carried out on the day of the trial (April 26) popped up.
In this context, the Bureau of the Kurdish Friendship Group (KFG) in the European Parliament: François Alfonsi (Greens/EFA), Andreas Schieder (S&D), Nikolaj Villumsen (GUE/NGL) and leaders of the European Political Parties: Heinz Bierbaum (President of the Party of the European Left) Evelyne Huytebroeck and Thomas Waitz (Co-chairs of the European Green Party), Lorena Lopez de Lacalle (President of the European Free Alliance) and Sergei Stanishev (leader of the PES – Party of European Socialists) has prepared a declaration (see attachment).
We join this valuable call of the KFG and leaders of the European Political Parties would be very pleased, if all political parties, members of parliament, and civil organizations who cannot attend the Kobani trial in Ankara to organize a catchy action in solidarity with the HDP from 11 am (CET), on April 26.

FYI: Should there be any other type of action that may be effective please do not hesitate to put it into practice. These are some types of actions that emerged following the discussions ‘what might be done alternatively?’:

- European Parliament: Photo action in and outside the EP (at 15:00 CET)
- The UK: Video message with the photos in the British parliament
- Germany: Photo action in federal and state parliament
